My '96 Civic EX build thread
So I've owned this car for over 5 years now.... Heres a pic when I got it!
However it was wrecked twice in the front... Heres a pic of one of them... Ran off the road....

Did a lot of work on it during the time I've had it, but then I lost compression in one cylinder! I let it sit there for over a year while I drove other cars and tried to figure out what I was gonna do...

There are lots of things I'm skipping to make a long story short and to get to where I am in the project today.. For example right after I got the car the input shaft bearing started to make noise.. I swapped in a junkyard trans and a new clutch... You are now pretty much caught up minus about 100k miles and lots of changes and fixes...
Recently I painted the steel wheels and got new lugnuts! This pic doesn't look right and it looks better in person!
Here's one of my favorite mods yet... Changing the washer nozzles.. The write-ups online aren't quite clear and the more of them you read the less you feel like you can trust one... The main points to consider are this... The newer cars that have the nozzles that you want often place them on the cowl and not the hood. Also when Honda changed to engine placement in the bay they also switched sides for the washer components... The nozzle stems leave toward the opposite side on some of them which would be a problem unless you go with longer hoses in the bay.. I found some that went straight down and they work great!

One of my favorite mods has to be the rear swaybar addition... Even a thinner one like from the integra is great... Just some si endlinks and brackets and you can really feel a huge difference...
Also I have replaced the long missing floormats with the black ones from Honda (the only color they now make), the trunk board is new from Honda as well and I used trunk bed liner for the trunk and spare tire area... Not something you see a lot but when you do it looks really nice and stuff doesn't slide around or make much noise when it does... It may also make a difference in road noise inside the car as well, but I will not make the claim!

PM me all you want. Still not a build thread.
Build and Do-It-Yourself (DIY) projects -- require pictures and details describing what was done, how it was done, how much it costs, and what results were
This is just some Photo documentation of the history of your car so far. Get to the build part.
