I think I may have made a mistake, what do you guys think?
I got a 2003 Acura TL-S a few days ago, it has 156,000 miles on it, with the transmission replaced at about 133k by a Honda Dealer, it has a rebuilt title after getting into fender bender, the bumper was replaced along with the headlight. The interior is great, the paint is good with almost no scratches (just a minor niks here and there) the SRS light is on (possibly from this accident? I'm not sure) it was safety inspected and then passed of as 'Rebuilt'.
I paid 3,600.

 

i wouldn't think a bumper and a headlight is reason for a rebuilt title. SRS light could be any number of things depending on how bad the accident was, impact sensors, srs unit, drivers airbag inflator, blah blah blah. i've seen similar cars not rebuilt for 7-8k.

 

Does it drive well? If it goes down the road straight, doesn't slip gears, id say its a good deal. If all the body panels line up I'd probably have bought it for 3,600 too

 

Def a good deal. I am about to pick up a 03 tl s with 157k miles for 5k

Love my tls as well. Long as your happy with the purchase in the end thats all that matters. As long as you keep up with the little things like oil/filter change, atf flush, spark plugs, etc that car will run forever. As for srs light it can be few things causing it but its really easy to diagnose and turn off.
