Default Need help from Wagon gurus

Im trying to remove my oil pan on a rt4wd wagon. I have an oneline manual and a haynes manual. I have removed the driven gear and the transfer gear.
On my online manual, the nrxt step is to remove transfer case from clutch housing, then remove clutch cover and then the oil pan.
The transfer case wont come off, i have removed all bolts, i dont want to damage it.
In my haynes book, chap 2 sec 13, after step 6, it says i need to remove the cross member under the oil pan, idk what that is doesny show clear pics.

Do i try n pry the t case off? Its the only thing needed so i can remove the oil pan.

Thx in advance to anyone who can seriously help, need to do this myself cuz a shop was quoting me at about 350 to change the oil pan gasket...
