Or you could call a roadside assistance shop and see how much they want to slim jim open a door.
i have title on hand thankfully not locked in car also .title with i.d. that should be all they need?
20 dontsound all that bad.
i would call roadside assistnce but i had figured theyd charge about the same without receiving a spare key

went to my local dealer and got
a key for $35. took my title and i.d. to prove ownership. 35 for a key to unlock door? luckily ididnt need the chipped key probably wouldve been hell of alot more expensive

For future reference, it's actually pretty easy to open locked doors on old Hondas with just a wire clothes hanger, just bend the curved part into two 90 degree angles so it's a rectangular shape with the tip pointing up, slip it in between the window and rubber lining, and search around a bit for the latch (pull up to release it). It helps if you use a wood/plastic wedge of some sort in between the window and rubber lining to give yourself a centimeter or so if space, so the hanger doesn't scratch the window.
I managed to get into my locked Honda in about 10-15min when I locked my keys (and dog!) in the car.
If you're a thief, the summary of the above is: "don't even attempt to break into an old Honda, they have the world's most advanced alarm system and they're virtually impossible to steal without hundreds of thousands of dollars worth of specialty tools."

Or now that you have an extra key that will open the door, just get a hide-a-key box with TWO magnets (one horizontally oriented, one vertical) and keep the key hidden somewhere on the underside of the car where it isn't visible.
