How to distiguish an Si steering rack from a standard rack?
I have the steering rack removed from my 1990 Civic Si but it appears that it has been rebuilt previously so now I am wondering if it is even the correct type of steering rack for my car. First because the adjustment instructions are different and I need to follow the correct procedure for the rack I have and second because I want my car to be correct.
How can I determine which type of steering rack I have?

I think I found the answer:
the STD/DX/HF rack has 18.6:1 ratio with 3.8 lock to lock. (faster overall than Si)
the variable Si rack has 19.8(18-20.4):1. its nominally 19.8:1 but varies from (18-20.4):1 with 4.1 lock to lock. (faster at the ends, but slower in the middle than DX)
My rack is 4.1 turns lock to lock so it is an Si rack.
