Hi
Bought 1996 Honda Accord a few months back. On starting the Car, when I push the Brake pedal to take off the Hand Brake, the Brake Light comes on but won't go off even on releasing the brake pedal on Dashboard. Even the Hand Brake light stays on. Brake works perfectly, just the dashboard lights stay on, the rear brake lights go on and off perfectly. I've checked the brake pedal under the steering and the brake plug is fine. Can't figure out why this is happening? Any help will be appreciated...

 

do you have the proper amount of brake fluid? check your brake fluid level.

 

i checked... There is sufficient brake fluid.

 

either a brake light is out (perhaps the high mount bulb) or the brake circuit check sensor is bad
