Default 98 honda civic Heater blower

Any ideas why my heater blower stays on even with the off button on the climate control. It just started today like if I have the heater on but the bottom is on off??

Sounds like an electrical short. Get out your multimeter and start chasing it down...

start at the blower motor plug and work your way back. if the switch is off and you're still getting power, either the switch isn't interrupting the circuit properly or you've got hot wires making contact somewhere in the run.

Are you saying that when you slide the lever to 'OFF' the blower still runs? If so, it's likely an internal short in the switch. With the switch out and moved to 'OFF', check for continuity between the ground terminal and each of the speed selection terminals.
