Default How Much Is It Worth

I'm selling my 1999 Honda Prelude and I would appreciate some help determining a fair price for it. It's stick shift, non SH, and it has 152,000 miles on it. It's really clean, has no problems, and is all original except for a stereo. I would rather not post pictures, but I would say it's a solid 7 to 8 out of 10 overall. I've looked on KBB and Nada, but those values seem pretty low after looking at similar Preludes for sale ... Any help would really be appreciated!

EDIT: it's been a while and no replies even though plenty of people have seen this. If I'm in the wrong section or missing something, please let me know.

Why dont you want to post pics? Thats the easiest way to determine the value.

All cars price varies depending on the region. Around here in the NW based off what you are telling Id ---guess--- about $3,000 to maybe $5,000.

I would just rather not. I don't want potential buyers seeing people saying that it's worth x amount and I'm selling it for more than that. To me $3000 seems pretty low, and I don't understand why there's such a big price swing. I don't want to rip anyone off, but I don't want to get burned either and find out that I could have gotten a grand more for it or something. I'm basically just asking how much you guys would pay for it based on the description.

Here's one for sale that's just like mine except mine's stick shift:

It said its no longer for sale and had no pics for me...

There is a big swing in gap because of the conditions varies a lot. You can find them pretty haggard looking. Bad paint, body damage, body lines way off. What rims it has, tires..ect

Put as high as you want and people will work you down.

Yeah, that works I guess. Like I said though, it's really clean. Good paint, solid body, little to no dings or scratches. Interior is practically flawless. One thing I'm a little worried about is that my exhaust manifold shield or whatever it's called is discolored. Is that something I should be worried about ... ? I'm sure someone will ask. Any help would really be appreciated.

No, who cares what color the heat shield is. Tell them to paint the damn thing if it bugs them lol. That has no effect on the car, and if its in the condition you are portraying it to be id start about $5k and see what happens. If it is in amazing condition and had the right aftermarket mods Ive seen them go for close to $10K.

But No stock prelude is going to be worth more then about 6K, and to ask that or more it better be in mint condition, have the right mods, have low-low original miles, ect to make it worth it.

Then again you will get what ever someone is willing to pay.
