Default Info Needed : Buying a 1989 CRX want to SWAP!!!!

Hi, I am buying a 1989 CRX just painted, interior is good, motor was just redone, for 400 bucks from a friend. I was thinking of making it a track car: Hoping to swap a motor, spray, and possibly turbo or supercharge it. We were gonna strip it, get slicks and race that B@tch. Give me some opinions on what we should do, ps, money is not pouring from the skies, so the cheapest way is best. Our idea:

B18 : pistons, rods, retainers, i/h/e and spray 100 shot. Then down the road Turbo.
Strip interior get a single sparco ultra seat, sparco steering wheel and harness. plus gauges
Roll on Gsr blades. with slicks. How much money would this be? If this isnt the best way please post your idea plus costs.

Also, its auto, would it be hard to make it manual if were doing a swap anyways???? Thanks

i would strip it...since money isnt falling from sky dont get all spearco ****...get something light/cheap...buildwhatever kinda motor u want...dont get gsl swirlies they are 15" and they are heavy...get some 13" steelies or some hx wheels or even rota slips...then get ur slicks...if it were be...i would build up a turbo gsr and boost the hell outs it...its really up to what ur into...thats just my .02
