TL or RL pistons on J35A4?
Have been searching on this and other forum about swaping TL or RL pistons on the J35, but haven't found a clear answer and which one of those two to use for higher compression and more power.
Some says that the RL pistons should be used because of valve clearance and the fact that the factory pistons are "alluminum forged". On the other hand, other people say that both are almost the same with no difference at all.
Also nobody mention which TL or RL pistons. What year, model, and out of what motor?
If anyone here knows please post or let me know the correct thread. Remember that is for J35A4. If know about any other J35 variant, please comment too.

Is there a better J series forum then this no body on here knows anything about J series I know the J35A4 has a cast non forged crank unlike the TL RL and Ridgeline the A8/A9 I believe its just the stroke that is different on the engines... I got a question for you do you know if the A4 would have the same holes on the block so the Ridgeline A8 mounts would work on the A4... I got a J35A8 and having some major issues with walls scoring due to a bad cat... LMK
