Are door jamb switches door specific?

Default Are door jamb switches door specific?
Would I be able to swap the door jamb switch on the passenger side of my EX coupe over to the drivers side? Drivers side is missing for some reason.

Never mind, I went ahead and switched them. Now I have what I wanted/needed, the annoying Honda beep and headlight reminder!
