WTB: Stock Type R
I know this isn't the classified ads, but it seems that a lot of cars are not all stock that are on sale and I also know that a lot of people offer their vehicles on this site before they do it on the classified section.
I wanted to get one that is all stock with some of its factory warranty remaining (so nothing over 50K).
I almost purchased a type r, but i found out the bumper was replaced and that a bunch of stuff was stolen, so I am again on the search for a Type R, please email me if you have one that you want to sell. Thanks
PS: if a car has a CAI, is its warranty voided for the engine?

Mine is for sale too...but prolly too many miles for you...but if you took a look, you wouldn't know it had more than 25k miles.

how much does it cost for an extended warranty on a car that is like a 98 or 2000 with a lot of miles?
In regards to mods.. I think basic bolt ons don't void warranty such as I/H/E am I correct?
i noticed a lot of the cars are lightly modded, and if they are not, they are way to unreasonably priced. I am looking for something 21K<
But I am definitely getting educated on the types of mods people have on their cars, what is an Ice Box...should I ask?

Intake, header and exhaust are light mods that you shouldn't have to worry about.
The do NOT void warrenty unless you have an AEM CAI and suck water in.
The only warrenty problems you may encounter is if the O2 sensors go bad with aftermarket header and/or cat.

call Woodfield Acura in Hoffman Estates, IL (847 373 9495). they took in a CLEAN stock 2001 black ITR for trade-in today. It only had 8000 miles. The owner did not drive it.
The logo on the floor mats were still as white as they were the day the car left the lot. The tires had lots of tread. That poor car is begging to be driven and not wasted in a garage any more.

I got a cool thing for this topic, a little fact. If u live in vancouver washington they have to prove that product is the cause of the damage, that means u can have after markete parts /w out voiding the warrenty, if the damage is caused by the product then it voids that part of the warrenty, but they do have to prove it, rather it be in court, or a small claims case.
yea I think that would stand anywhere in general. I mean.. I/H/E is extremely unlikely to be the reason for a failure... but once u get into the motor it's a lot easier to mess it up.
