1993 accord soleniod clicking
When turning my key in the on position I hear a clicking sound coming from my solenoids. Not sure if it the shift or lock up control solenoid that's making the sound(believe it to be the shift solenoid for the reason below) .
Also my car doesn't shift, I think it stays in 3rd or 4th gear not sure because when I start from a stopped position it takes awhile for it to get going fast.
My ? is, does thesound indicate that the solenoids are bad and if not y would they make that sound. Also which would it be that's making the sound in the on postion?
P.s. I am horrible with cars so please excuse my lack of knowledge

It has not done it recently so I cannot check. Also i took it to a tire plus to get the codes and they said the codes said the problem is from the transmission solenoid.
Note: I just got my shift solenoid change the other day and I can feel a big difference in the car( what i mean by that is from stop the car picks up speed a lot faster now) but the car still does not shift.
There are two solenoids on the trans. Also some cars in this gen had an issue with the connectors to the solenoids getting dirty causing all kinds of issues. Last, don't go there yet, these are known for having issues with the TCM.
So one step at a time - don't jump to replacing parts.
Is the D4 or S light blinking or staying on while driving the car?
