Default KP Gasket Co. (Altrom)

How is this companies reputation for Hondas?

I have a valve cover gasket set here part #KJN744 but before I install it I want to know if the Ishino is any better. They're priced the same.

Ishino link

Ishino comes with sealing washers, but I can reuse my original ones. All I really need are the spark plug tube seals.

KP Gasket's good?

Well I already have the KP Gasket (can return it though).

I only know of one OEM store online.

Looks like part 001 here

TorontoHondaParts

It includes the plug seals, main seal, and washers. It's $59.99, but $13 for shipping and $11 for tax bringing it to $84.

Ideally I'd buy all Honda OEM, but it get's expensive quickly. Their alternators are over $600 here, but I can get a new one for $155 (1 year warranty) ($275 for rebuilt with lifetime warranty).

Thanks man
I see you recommend Fel-Pro or OEM.
94EG8 recommended Altrom head gaskets, and lil_cook97 recommended Altrom as a whole.
I didn't buy this gasket from Napa, but I see it on their website.
I think I'm just going to try it. If it does leak I'll be out a few dollars but I'll know if they're any good.
I only have one slow leak in cylinder 4 to begin with.

Ishino is going to be very good too, for the record. Made in Japan. Honda uses their metal gaskets a lot. I actually wouldn't be surprised if the OEM ones are mfr'd by Ishino. Tough to verify that though.

No problem dude.
This KP gasket says made in Japan as well.
Could be repackaged OEM for all I know, same with Ishino.
