1995 del sol, some fool put 4 locking lug nuts on each wheel. When I was trying to take them off with the adapter it sheered off Ive been told the thing is called a tuner lock. It has a 05 stamped on it. Ive tried half a dozen autoparts stores and havnt gotten anywhere. Anyone know where I can get a new key or get these things off?

 

Call around to mechanics at this point, do not try to resolve it yourself. Someone in the area may have a universal set. I have a universal lug nut remover, but not for the low profile lug nuts.

 

Any good tire shop should have that key. I'm pretty sure its just a muteki style.

 

I ordered a 7 spline, 11/16 key I think thats the one I need. I dont go to a shop for any reason under any circumstance for work. I think the air chisel might be coming out. These are 15 inch rims horrible ugly things if I destroy them the world will be better off

 

Id try to tap it, find a bolt to patch the thread pitch, and pull out the key. After that bring it to any shop and some tech must have a broken lug socket.
