Engine turns over but will not fire. Done replaced main relay. Still no fire at coil.Could it be ecu? Tried to read codes but it says no link. People keep telling me it could be ecu. Can ecu be reset? I want to put a chipped ecu in it but dont really know if that is the problem. Please somebody help I'm about to pull my hair out on this car.

 

did you try testing the coil itself?

 

did u swap the oil pump and crank timing pulley and balance shaft pulley from the old motor to the jdm ?

 

Put new ecu and ignition coil in also replaced main relay. Car just turns over but will not crank. Done checked all the fuses. Fuel pump is working.I am waiting on a new distributor now hope that solves the problem
