Suspension questions?
ok, so i want to lower my car. i like the SE rims, so im going to stick with those for a while. i want a set up that will look good, but that i can also change to 16's or 17's in the future if need be. any suggestions on good suspension springs/struts? also, am i gonna ned a camber kit in addition to the suspension? i dont want to be riding around on the inside of my tires. my brothers 240sx does this, and it really hurts the handling, not to mention going through back tires every 8 months (which is partially b/c hes addicted to side-stepping the clutch at 5 grand+)
any help would be appreciated. oh and on a side note, forced induction intakes or cold air?? which is better?? thanks a lot everyone!

With your stock rims, a 2" drop would look really clean, any more than that, it will give it a more slammed look (which is nice too
). As long as you get the right tire according to the rim size, then you shouldn't have problems rubbing at all, even with a 2.5" drop on 17s. If you're worried about it though, I recommend a set of adjustable springs (coilovers). I know Skunk2 and Eibach make a really nice spring--a lot of my friends use either one of those two.
If you plan to lower that much, look into a set of shocks also...Tokico would be nice
I'm really just giving you info based on from what I've heard and from experience with other people's rides (I personally have the stock suspension still). Maybe somebody else on this board could help out a little more and give a little more insight on what they have.
As for the intake, I'm guessing by "forced induction intake" you mean short ram...Just get a cold air intake, you lose some torque but you gain a few ponies in the end. Short ram is ideal if your car was making power at 9000 or 10,000 RPMs, but the Prelude doesn't--the choice is yours.

IMO, H&R Race springs and KYB AGX are pretty good, so far that is! The AGX are 4-way adj. and the race springs are 2"-2 1/2" drop.
Tokicko, Eibach, GC, and many others are very good as well. Depends on how you plan to use them (ie.. Daily driver, or Auto-X)
Hope this helps!
