Default 88 civic won't start

So..... i was messing around eith wires and such, and all of a sudden i smell hella fuel, car died, now the check engine stays on, car will not crank over, and the led light on my pm6 ecu stays on( when ignition is on)

What does that mean? Did it just flood and wont start?
Did i fry my ecu? Or whole harness? I checked all my fuses, theyre ok.

I plugged a connector onto the ignition service plug by the driver fender( trying to set timing)
The plug wasnt stopping the ecu from adjusting ignition, so my dumb self connected a jumper wire from that plug to the positive terminal and my car died.
My pm6 ecu smells burned, but nothing inside looks burned, looks just like my pm5

yeaa.....you broke the ECU for sure.

Time to go to the pick-a-part

PS. in the future, you don't ever really need that jumper. Just adjust the distributor position and use a timing light. holy fuckery.

My ecu is stubborn, i get the timing dead on, then after i tighten the bolts, i literally see the timing marks move, cuz the ecu adjusts the ignition. Like my gun at 0 wont align to the middle of the 3 marks( and im not off a tooth or anything).

Is there a way i can save this ecu? I have a pm5 dpfi ecu, but it wont start my car, my car cranks but wont fire( with the dpfi), and j changed the main relay.
Is the pm5 suppose to start my car? Like fire on 2 injectors?
Anyone know how to check if i fried some wires on my harness that connects to the ecu?
Oh and its my only car.... so yeah life sucks atm.

Throw in the towel and have someone who knows what they're doing at the very least guide you.

Do you honestly think that the engine will run with two cylinders functioning? Because at best that's what you're asking it to do by plugging in that PM5 ECU and that's assuming all else is equal and functional (which wouldn't be the case since the wiring is already altered).

Throw in the towel?? I wasnt raised to be a quiter.

Thank God i was able to have someone sell me an ecu, delivered too. Luckily didnt short any wires in my harness. Car starts now, not sure how itll perform tho.

Atleast now I know 1001 ways how to Not fix a car.
