Default B16A dyno #'s

Had a blast at Thunderhill Raceway today with my cousin, anyways I talked him into putting his jdm b16a on the dyno, pr3 pistons and what he claims are b17 (92-93 gsr) cams. Anyways do these numbers look right for his engine. Motors rebuilt with less then 5k on it. Car ran healthy and fast around the course in his light *** eg but for some reason i though it would do better #'s on the dyno, What do you guys think?

160hp stock with 17% drive line loss is what your numbers are. Sounds about right to me. They don't call it the gutless wonder for nothing. If he is happy with the performance then that's what counts, in the end it is just a number afterall. VTEC is a little late though - should be closer to 5,200 - 5,300 rpm.

Is the AFR being monitored by the dyno?

To my knowledge b17a cams are very close in profile to b16a cams.

But yes the numbers look right for a bone stock b16.

Yeah the afr readings are at the bottom of the dyno chart and are great for a street tune. Okay thanks, any idea what a b18c1 Will put down average? I didn't bring my car this time so I haven't dynoed it.
