Cluster guage and LEDS
So I have a 97 civic ex and My bulbs are Dim on the speedometer, I want to replace them with white leds. I've been reading/learning about what bulb I need and I'm pretty sure I need a #194 bulb and four #74 bulbs, I have stock cluster faceplate which is black, was thinking about just switching all the bulbs out with white but now that I see some people using red leds to make the numbers on your gas guage/rpms/mph tach etc I might switch to red, but my main problem is not being able to see my needle at night. I can see all the numbers and everything find except where my needles at. Is there a certain bulb that is just for you needle? I pulled my cluster out to paint the trim piece white but I have no idea on which bulb lights up what. I should have looked at it more when I did this but I didn't. From other sites I've read there are maybe one or two bulbs that just shine down on the whole cluster so u can see your needle? Can somebody give me some info plz. I think I might just get all white leds to replace them all idk.
