Fuel Cuts Off when in gear at 2Krpm! HELP
I was driving my 92 civic (b20b block, 97 gsr head, p28ecu) and after a couple minutes of going through the gears just fine I went to upshift and out of the bule the fuel cut off. I pulled over and reved it in nuetral and it reved great and idled good as it always does. I shut the engine off and started her back up, put it in 1st, started to pull away fine and as soon as i hit 2-2.5k it did the same thing, no fuel. WTF? Any help would be appreciated.
No check enigne light. No I havnt checked the codes not do I know how to. Could I take my ecu out and take it to like auto zone and have them check? Srry im a newb with this stuff. Jus got the car 3 weeks ago. It is a swaped motor and everything, so is it normal for people to swap motors and ecu's and not hook stuff up like check engine lights?
You did an engine swap yet dont know how to check for codes ?
Hook up a fuel pressure gauge. Lay the hood on it with the gauge pointed at you under the hood on the windshield so you can monitor fuel pressure when it dies.
You can get fuel pressure tester at harbor freight for $20

I didn't do the swap. I bought it built already. Thankfully I have friends that are mechanically inclined to help me learn but I appreciate any help this forum can offer. Thanks
