Default FS: T3/T4 60-1 Barely Used Great condition...

Hey,

I'm selling my 60-1 that has been on my car for 5 months or 1500 miles the turbo is still in brand new condition, the shaftplay is minimal and its always been turbo timed. There is no cracks on the housing or anywhere else.
15 psi is the highest thing this thing has seen and thats just getting into the efficiency range with this bad boy if you really want to make some power you can turn the boost up all the way to 25psi and still be in the efficiency range.
The only reason I'm selling this thing is because I'm going with a different setup..

This turbo is good for 600+HP. Here are a few of the specs...

Garrett T3/T4 60-1

Compressor:
T04S
60lbs of air flow
.70 a/r
4 inch inlet
2.5 inch discharge
360 heavy duty thrust bearing

Turbine:
T3
76 trim left hand inconel t31 exhaust wheel
4 Bolt Flange
And has the standard .63 a/r turbine housing.

If your looking to buy a 60-1 for a good price this is the one its slightly used but oh well getting a new one is gona take a little bit of time sence the garrett units are on national backorder...

I will post up some pictures later on in the day

The Price is $650 shipped or best offer.

I'm Paypal Varified and I do ask you to tack on that 3% sence this is not my thing its paypals..

Adi

Here is the compressor map for it...

hm, I run now the stock Turbo which comes with thte DRAG III kit...are these the correct specs of my turbo, yeah?!
Turbonetics T04e/T3 hybrid, .54 trim, stage 3 Turbine .63 trim..that would be the compressor map:

this is the Map of your 60-1 turbo

How would be spooling, lag, etc on the 60-1 vs the T04e .54 trim? I run an equal length VS racing manifold and 3 inch exhaust, 1.8 litre displacemant and 9.2:1 cr. Spool is superb now. begins to spool at 3000rpm and hit ful boost about 4000rpm. I do lots of autoX too and I love this setup, but when Drag racing my baby, I miss some top end.

Edit: I understand nothing about compressor maps, what the hell are the lines telling me?

ya i know nothing about compressor maps, i need some help w/those...i was at first thinking this was to big but maybe not...this is a duel purpose car so i would like some street power, but realize you have to give to get...my goal is 400-500hp my set up goes like this:

h22 bored to 89mm, endyne 9.5:1, full ferrea .5mm oversized valvetrain,3 angle valve job on the intake, radius on the exhaust...w/a lot more strong parts, but figure thats what you need to see if this is the right size...i was alos thinking about dp n2o maybe a 40-60 shot...so ABOUT when will i start to feel boost/full boost be, w/out the n2o, cause im thinking the n2o will kill most all lag

sorry for the noob way of going aboutt his, but this is my first time attempting boost

and im not wasteing your time, i am seriously interested

Christian,

With my setup Gsr, 1.8 liter block, 81.5mm stock bore, 9:25.1 compression, max rev log style manifold and 3" turbo back exhaust I was starting to spool up at about 4000rpm and had full spoolup at about 5000rpm but when it kicked in it hit hard and pulled hard all the way up to redline and felt like it would go even higher.

I'd say with your equal length manifold you should see full spoolup by about 4500rpm and pull very hard all the way to the top, it might feel just a little bit more laggy than your 54 trim turbo during auto-x and regular street driving but If you like your power and want some real pwer up top this is the turbo to go with!!!
