1996 Civic Hatch Build- Canadian Build
Hey There, so heres the deal on my car, Picked it up for $200 with a slipped timing belt, and a totalled interior, car was a total mess. A friend of mine and myself were supposed to buy it and build it together, he passed away September 11th of 2013 so i picked up the car the day after to begin the car. sorry for the bad pics!
I will post updated pictures as i find them on the computer and as progress continues! hope to see you all at Honda Day 2014 here in TO!
off to the garage she goes!

how I got the car!

After about 2 weeks i had the car on koni red coils and picked up a cf hood!

Parts started to accumulate quickly, after another couple weeks.

I really disliked the way the hood fit, and the way the wheels looked so i sold them. and got the black enkei Rp01's donated towards the build

About 2 days ago I started installing the parts and cleaning out the interior. Sanded down all the rust and painted the floors to help stop the rust from coming back

hmm, gotta get it clean man.. a lot going on but nothing getting done..
I would redo the interior paint, did you use dry ice? also you can dye the carpet for pretty cheap.. will look a lot better than the home depot grey. Once that is done you have a pretty solid interior, then go from there.. that's just imo..
good stuff so far thow,

it didnt have a carpet when i picked it up lol; i ended up laying carpet down with a rubber layer on the bottem to stop water from getting to the floor.
Reason I didnt go OEM bumper was because everyone has that around me. I havent seen any BYS around here; Its going in for another overhall this winter since our winters tend to not be to nice.

and no i couldnt get any access to dry ice, so I used a razor blade, flat head screwdriver and my hands. I sprayed the floor with primer just to stop the bare metal from rusting anymore.

My day today consisted of installing the B18b1, linkage, axles etc. wasn't to fun without a cherry picker. Still have to wire it up but I ran out of time.
