Default Potential New Owner

Hey everyone, been a while since I found myself posting in a Newbie section of a forum!

I've been into BMWs for the past 8 years, and most recently a WRX for the past 2 years, looking to pick up either a 97 Honda Civic, or a 2000 Civic SI very soon to replace the WRX.

I'm looking for something cheap to own, cheap to fix, and something to eventually tear down and build from the bottom up.

I'm looking forward to browsing the forum and getting to know Hondas, which will be hard after spending all my car-life around BMWs!

I was into and around bmws and volvos for a while. I came back to hondas because of the simplicity. I found myself smiling more in a nice honda. A 99/00 civic si or a 98-01 integra gsr would be a good choice. I have a 95 db8 gsr sedan and love it as a dd. Been around all sorts of cars and still have that honda passion

Interestingly enough, I'm talking to a guy about getting his 1999 SI and $1k for my car. I posted a thread in the proper section with a couple details

I'll always be passionate about BMWs, well, the older ones at least!

As soon as I find employment in my given field I WILL own an e30 M3. Preferably white with cardinal interior...

I'm already having fun thinking about parking it for winter and rebuilding the motor for a slightly improved NA experience. Maybe some upgraded cams/pistons, make it bulletproof again and then breather mods like headers and a nice sounding catback.

I owned a e30 325i baur... if you are into bmw's well enough, you might be a little jelly lol

Was able to enjoy a full year with it while it had a e36 m3 swap in it....

Ah yes, the baurs are quite... unique lol

I've been in one s50 swapped M3 and it was an absolute blast!

I was gonna stick the motor from this M3:

Into this e30 before I moved on and bought 98 540i/6:

Thanks, that was a shitty week lol

The motor was a PITA to pull because it was so cold, and the next two days it snowed so much I had to shovel for an hour to open the doors and pull out the rest of the interior.
