So my girlfriends friend needs her bumper replaced on her Accord she bought the 4 Cylinder bumper cover yet she has a v6. I looked up part numbers and they are different but barely. Anyone have an idea if this should work?

 

They're different, the nose of the v6 is aprox 1.5-2" longer than the 4 cyl to accommodate the larger engine. therefor the bumper cover, fenders, and hood are different

 

Thanks man. I kind of figured that. I told her she bought the wrong parts and she was bummed but oh well.

 

It's a pain finding parts for them. When I wrecked mine I went to 3 junkyards and ended up going to one an hour away to get a hood and fenders then ordered a radiator support and radiator

 

The lady ordered her bumper and fender off ebay not knowing they 4 cylinder and the V6 were different and I told her they were after she purchased them and I told her certifit has the parts but the bumpers they sell are usually ****.
