Need help with Aluminum Radiator size of hoses...
I just bought a aluminum radiator high capacity to upgrade my stock OEM radiator. The issue is on the aluminum radiator the inlet and outlet sizes are 1.25" and I can't find any parts stores that have that size for the lower radiator hose....not sure what size to get in order to make it work. Anyone know of any other sizes that will work this this radiator? Don't want to get silicone ones bc I heard they will fail and leak...I have a 95 Honda civic EG stock, just replacing the radiator to aluminum...

I just bought new OEM upper and lower radiator hoses, with some lube they slipped on with a tight fit. The hoses I bought were thicker and looked more durable so we shall see what happens. Eventually I will buy and replace with the silicone hoses.
Everything I've read is that silicone hoses are superior to oem rubber.
I wonder if this is one of those marketing gigs like Energy Suspension polyurethane bushings that need replacing every two years or so.
