Looking for feedback on owners who have accumulated over 75k miles. My wife wants a SUV. Thanks.

Read an article years back claiming a poll of self - made millionaires reflected between 50-55% purchased all of the vehicles used with the average age being 1.5 years & between 55-60% bought their daily commute used with an average age of 1.75 years.

So.........I'm looking for a 5-6 yr old SUV.

Has to be tan leather with exterior color a deep dark red, dark blue or black. would be a hard sell on the wife to agree to black though.

 

I've owned 2 CRV's. But currently we have 2 Pilots. a 2006 and 2007. The 2006 (mine) as about 165k on it. Only thing outside the routine maintenance has been an oil pan gasket leak ($200 at dealer). The 07 has only needed routine maintenance (has `80k).

I have the EX-L. The leather does hold up well compared to some cars I've seen.

my wife doesn't like leather seats so I got her's with cloth.

The only really annoying thing with my 06 is dash buttons burning out there back lighting. The bulbs are replaceable but around $4 each from Honda. And there a pain in the butt since they require dis-assembly of the dash. I think I currently have 3 or 4 to change.
