I recently acquired a 2002 rsx base model, car is all stock with 188k miles, I am throwing a po420 catalytic converter code. I was considering purchasing a type r full exhaust header back, but i was told the jdm catalytic converter will not be able to be used. My ultimate goal was just a tad more power while maintaining a quiet stockish sound? I am a NYS resident with the main concern of passing emissions inspection, my inspector just plugs the car into the computer no check engine light he calls it a day. I don't have the funds for kpro at this time any helpful advice is appreciated.

 

you want an upgrade buy a full 05 Type-S exhaust system. It's bigger than 02-04 and stock easy to find.
