Default 1994 honda accord EX transmission compatibility help..

so I need to know are what other trannys are compatible..

mine is automatic.. I heard the 1997 autotrans would work but i need to use the 97s torque converter?

well any help would be great..

pretty much any F or H tranny will work. u should look into getting an OBD1 tranny since ur car is OBD1.

Any trans from a car with an F22 engine. F23 engines came with the next generation of transmissions.
'90-'93 Accord, '94-'97 Accord, 92-96 Prelude, '97 CL, and '94-'97 Odyssey

OBDI vs OBDII does not matter.

ok well i got a new/used tranny and my question is this..

the tranny came off a 92 prelude.. and on the tranny closest to the fire wall there are 2 rubber tubes that my 94 tranny did not have.. what do i do with them?

does the old speed sensor bolts up without mods? it has a keeper type thing inside that spins it. i don't know if the gear is different

CB Accords and I guess some Preludes used a VSS that was conected to the PS.
Just pull your old VSS from your Accord trans and put it on the Prelude trans.
H4A is an H4A. Just different gearing.

mad mike he said they were different sizes. don't believe me, he sent me a pm and that is what he wrote. i recommend swapping them and thats when i got pm'd that
