ok heres the story, some jealous BASTARD keyed the driver and passenger quater panels. Both rear quarter panels and alittle on the front bumper. Also he put two dents in my hatch directly below the wing (maybe hitting it to set the alarm off). Well it sux for him that someone knew him, his home address and home phone number so the police called him and told him to get his *** to my town or else he is getting arrested. So he came and now he's gotta pay in court.

I went and got the damage estimated and it came out to a whooping 2345.95. This is the paint shop ACURA insisted on going to. They stated they just couldn't paint the panels cause everything needed to match SO they are painting the whole car except the hood and roof. The crazy thing is the price for some parts, Acura Emblem 54.00 x2, Type R sticker 47.50 x2 and to top it off 40 per hour for labor. ******* crazy *** stuff. He's gonna cry at court at that estimate. I'm feeling better

naaawce! the judge will have NO sympathy for that guy. he'll have to accept responsibility for his actions, if he didn't want to pay the 2,500, then he shouldn't have keyed it in the first place, i'd make sure that estimate includes a NEW rear hatch instead of just fixing the dents.

its great to finally hear about some a-hole getting justice for his stupidity...i can't understand, how we all live in a country of great opportunity, that people still behave in such a way...

first thing that comes to my mind when a porsche turbo pulls up next to me is, i'm going out and gettin my mine own...i wouldn't be upset at the person for being able to afford it

anyway, your estimate seems surprisingly LOW for a car getting an almost complete paintjob. make sure you get the best of everything, material and service, and have the best shop in town to do it for you...money no object

I dont't know if you got one, but you better get a police report!!!! Without it it is your word agaist his... trust me a few months from now he won't want to pay and you need to have his actions in writing.
