Hi guys im working on finishing up my jdm h22a swap into my 98 prelude and when i swapping my new rywire tuck harness on i came to find the knock sensor plug is different, the plug on the motor is square but the harness is circle. I read that obd 1 sensors are circle and would make sense being that rywire does their harnesses in obd1.
Can i use any circle plug knock sensor in the h22a?
and what would i need to search for to get the right circle knock sensor?

 

Can anyone shed some light on this for me?

 

Not too many of the obd1 Hondas used a knock sensor, so they should probably all work. any obd1 H22 or H23 will have it, from 1992 to 1995.
