as I look out the window, all I can see is snow and ice! lastnight, I was working, and was going to get something to eat, and on the way back, I lost the f#%/$n car, and slided on a curb, the front hit the curb hard, no real body damage but one of my accord type-r rims is ruined and bent like hell!!! just had to vent.. I was lucky though to not hit a wall or something...

now I'm thinking of getting winter tires with studs for the first time...

yes it is.. when I was driving the car home all sorts of noises came when I turn to right.. I hope nothing is damaged, I put the car in the garage and I´m gona put my 15´s on when I have the time...

to think about it.. I was lucky somebody wasnt crossing the street at that, although I wasnt going fast..

 

Get rid of those huge ATR rims.....
Maybe you need some winter tires...
And use the LSD by stepping on the throttle (not too much of course).

 

ATR rims are going, there was just a nice set of tires on them to use during the summer
decent winter tires are waiting on the 15´s... but I´ll probably end up buying studs

Sorry about your bang-up. Unfortunately I know all too well the negatives of Z-rated tires + snow = OUCH!

I almost got into an accident twice already since the first snow fall and both of them were the other drivers fault.

People with 4x4's seem to think that:
mad grip accelerating = mad grip decelerating

WRONG, your heavier SUV is gonna slide more than my ITR biatch
