i forgot. is the diagnostic light for the tranny the d4 light or the sports light? my sports light is giving me codes. but i thought it was suppose to be the d4 light?

 

S light or D4 light. Think the 90-93 models used the S light where the 94-up used the D4.

As long as you are retrieving a code that is transmission related and not some nonsensical blinking.

 

mmm ok makes sense because my dad has a 94 and his d4 light blinks. mine its just the s light guess i need a new tcu lol. when i come to a stop it takes off in what feels like to be third. i have to manually shift it into first then i can throw it into d4 and the rest of the gears go in like nothing. tried different shift solenoids moved my tcu over to the 94 same thing. **** it guess i need a 5th gen tcu heard they last longer better components etc. thanks mad mike appreciate the info
