I cant find a diagram for USDM p72 obd1 manual (of the circuit board)
reason i need it: im trying to fix a obd1 ecu i purchased.. they basically ripped me off..~$130 USD worth of rip off

fixed r77 it was nice and crispy.. track is intact

and now it shows me the mil

code 16 flashes but i know my injectors work (i have a p28 and it works fine on my jdm b18C gsr)

just need to know where a1 a2 a3 a5... and so on.. and where they plug in the circuit board.

I originally posted that on PGMFI, glad to see it's spreading around. that's not for the 1980 board, but they're all fundamentally the same as far as circuit testing.

 

thanks I had a feeling you where on here . Im in processes of looking for a scrap ecu.. would you happen to know if i can use qm1 qm2 q22 and q23 from a p06 or p28

yeah most of the components are all the same across all OBD1 models, except the extended boards for crank sensors and knock have some variations.

 

sounds good i want to try it but im a bit iffy... because i have a spare p06 auto virgin.. and i really dont want to scrap it if i can convert it later on

what about HIC1 looks a bit different on a p28 and a 1720 version p06

asking because my p28 is dumping gas..its giving me cyp code
and if it doesnt really matter much to srap my p06 might aswell fix both ecus
