Default 1999 Honda Accord Auto transmission serious problem

I've noticed a few times when i gun it on the highway to pass someone that my rpms will stay high like its stuck for sometimes up to 5 seconds even after i let go of the gas. Tran has been shifting really hard for the past week or so and i shouldve had it looked at but my tires got slashed on my vehicle and i had to get it towed and deal with that first. When i was driving my car after having the tires replaced i felt a really hard shift and then my car started revving really high.

Now only park, neutral, 1, and 2 work. Also my check engine light is on. Do i need a new tranny?

does your transmission lines go to the radiator? if so then the transmission cooler tank is leaking into the radiator tanks causing the tranny fluid in the coolant.

if u got no reverse then trans prolly bad. there are rebuild kits which might save u a few $$$ or get one from a junkyard and have a shop install it. soon u will shift to D and car will not move no matter how much u gas it

theres no more tranny fluid in the coolant, that was an old problem, my new problem is that my engine light is on and the car wont go into reverse or d3, d4. All my fluids are clean and topped up.

If you CEL or D4 light is on, pull the codes and post them here. If the D4 light is on, use the older style OBDI blue two wire connector to pull codes. Not all of the OBDII P07** codes are posted online, and some are very generic.

If Reverse is not working that may be a bigger issue. I am not positive with the M6HA transmissions are the same, but with the older 90-97 H4A reverse is hydraulically controlled.
