My JDM Prelude's cruise control won't set higher than 100km/h (60mph).

I think that USDM and Euro Preludes don't have this limitation, so I'm wondering if I swap out the cruise control computer for one from a euro car, will it work?

Anyone any experience of this? Where is the cruise control computer in these cars?
