Hello, I have a 2000 Honda Civic EX (4 door). Since I bought it, a few years ago, the front passenger side door has never locked or unlocked with the keyless entry remote, nor with the driver's side lock switch. I have always had to manually push down the lock, to get the door to lock. It will, however, lock and unlock when I use my key. We had taken the door panel off and did not see anything obvious, but I am not really familiar with cars that much either. What could be wrong with it?

Check for broken wires in the door jamb connectors.
