bearing clearances
I just checked my bearing clearances and there all .0010in and I have std acl bearings what bearing should I get to have at lest .0015in clearance I no that honda has different ones and acl is the same as the green honda bearings please help
if u have never done bearings before.. i highly recommend going to a shop... if ur surfaces are clean and within spec then ur looking at like 100$ labor + bearings cost
this is just my 2 cents though.. every block iv built iv had them match rod bearings with oem bearings to spec because they usually are all different and u can pick how tight/loose to make, and then main/thrust i use acl or king which are 1 size standard all the way through.
bearings arnt something to just guess on and its hard to explain whats correct because every block/crank is different. give urself the peace of mind with a shop for a extra 100-200 ontop of bearing cost. most shops u can give them the acl set and they can use what they can out of it.

I see what u mean but I got enough money in this thing already I was reading my manual and it says 1&5 can be .0007to.0014 and I have .0010 on all of them I should be good right? 2,4&5 r supposed to be.0010 to .0017
