spitting LOTS of moisture on cold start e85, any fixes?
my car has always spit lots of water or condensation on cold starts with e85 shooting it all over my hood or bay because of the up pipe. Is there anything specific I can do or change to keep this from happening. Car is on s300 and once warm moisture is completely gone.
What makes up 12-15% of a gasoline/E85 burning internal combustion engines exhaust?
If you were to answer H2O to this question you would be correct...
There is really no easy way to reduce it. Maybe you could try running a leaner AF mixture...??? Or you could move to warmer climates where the water vapor in the exhaust gas won't condense inside the piping.
Or you could move your exhaust tip routing.
