I've done a lot of research and still can't find an answer. I'm running a 14" rim. I don't want to go to 15". I want to upgrade the calipers and rotors to the calipers and rotors from a 90-91 EX. Can I do this and still keep a 14" rim. Thanks in advance.

 

Yes. I have the EX setup on my car and I run 14" rims. They barely clear, but it's fine. You'll need the EX spindles as well.

 

I saw a thread that said the EX calipers and rotors would fit on the EF spindles.

The link you posted isn't an EX brake upgrade. That's some sort of hybrid/ITR style brake upgrade.

I'm telling you that a true EX brake upgrade fits under 14" wheels.

 

I believe you. I just thought I didn't have to change the spindles.

 

yes of course you have to change knuckles.

 

I have read that hx rims won't fit with out using an angle grinder on the edge of the calipers.
