2010 civic si throttle help?
I have a 2010 civic si and when i give it the slightest throttle, it would rev like im giving it a lot. Like trying to rev to 1500 rpm is impossible, it would rev to like 3500. Anything i should look for or test, will check tps tomorrow but anything else i should look at?
I agree my 2008, and every newer generation Si I have driven with the electronic throttle revs a bit too happy. After owning my car for a few months I found the right amount of right foot pressure to happily put along in stop and go traffic, or hit the lovely noise that comes about at VTEC. If you had been driving a car with a cable throttle or something in those lines its tough to get used to the electronic style. Other cars have chips that you can plug into the connector on the back of the throttle and tune it not sure about the Si though, have yet to look into it.
just take the TB apart an have honda look at it. ive been having problems with my 72mm TB from skunk, an they have calibrated it 1 time an might have to do it again, or call speed factory tacoma washington an they would be more then happy to help you an talk about it. ge the number off of google
