I bought a 1991 CRX hf (automatic) with 90,000 original miles.

And I believe I got a it for a steal.

The body and interior are IMMACULATE.
I just installed a new headunit and mids.

It's sitting on a skunk 2 suspension with some kind of aftermarket control arms....

 

personalizing wil always hurt a cars value. so the rims and wat looks like a fin -.- can be personal pref..... however, finding it as clean as it is if there is truely NO rust or dents or noticeable broken items, is always a plus. its hard to find a crx that hasnt been used/abused/raced/and swapped.

it will also depend on where u live for a price. as far as jersey or philly/new york goes, 2000-2500 unless somebody is dieing to have 1. u can ask 3k but will always get low balled.

i usually can find a clean shell rolling chassis for 500-800 and then toss a b series in for a few 100 bucks. after that its all personalizing

 

I am in Jersey. I would have thought it would have been wayyyyy more than that.

I am not exaggeratting at all....this car has not one ding, rust spot, scratch, etc. It looks like it just rolled from the showroom.

You don't think a CRX enthusiast would pay good money for such a rare specimen?

 

Honestly, people go over the top with their " mint " hondas. Demanding 5k and stuff cuz its clean. For 5k you can buy like 5 different cars.
Or build a gsr, an h22, maybe a rwd fun car.

I guess a hardcore enthusiast would want a stock honda, and pay 3k.

Im not trying to bash hondas, i love the 4th gen crx sedan and wagovans, not really the hatches ( they look like bugs, or geo metros lol)

You can price it whatever you want, but if you think about it, the majority of honda heads are young people, and most( not all) are on budgets, and probably would not want to spend thousands on a stock car.

Pretty sure, in stock factory form, the HF only came in a 5spd manual.
something fishy, and that color, its not stock is it? color code please.
show under hood shot please, HF would have a intake different than most.

 

Yes, most likely a DX. How many miles and has it been repainted? Automatics are less desirable, period.

if the paint code is R-72P then its a 90-91 dx and should have a dpfi d15b2 under the hood.
