Hi guys, I just ordered a Wedge engineering seat bracket for my civic 91 so I choosed the 90-91 bracket. Heres the link of it:
http://wedgebrackets.com/brackets/ho...-brackets.html
So here is my problem... I took a look on hondaparts now and it seems like the bracket I currently have on my oem seat is a 88-89 but both of my 90-91 civic hatchbacks had those rails... so no it's not a 88-89. You can see both of the 88-89 and 90-91 seats in details at these links:
Usdm 88-89 seats:

Usdm 90-91 seats:

Here is a pic of my civic 91 seat (passenger) wich is a 1991 and looking like a 88-89 on hondapartsnow.....:

It looks like the 88-89 Usdm civic has the same brackets as the canadian civic 90-91 so this means that the 90-91 canadian civics has the 88-89 usdm seat brackets.
Id need you guys to shoot me pics of your civic 88-89 and 90-91 seats rails please this would help me a LOT. Thanks!

Do you have a pic of the front of the seat? Interesting how yours is looking like 88-89 seat rails. I think Pro Car Innovations makes rails for these cars but they are special order. I wonder if your car being canadian was fitted differently than say a U.S. Car.

i know for a fact that the seats you have currently are similar to the USDM 88-89 seat sliders! 88-89 civics have narrow seat rails compared to the newer 90-91... my issue was trying to put countless newer 90+ seats into my car trying to mod to fit the narrow mounting points... your new brackets that you purchased will not work

Yeah I know I ordered a set of 88-89 usdm bracket for my 90-91 canadian. I talked with wedge and I sent them my measures and it should be bolt on. One thing is that for this year the bracket they make is going onto the oem seat rails and then you bolt your new seat on their bracket (adapter) with side mounts.

Yeah of course. I'm waiting for wedge engineering to make (10-14day) the bracket so they send it to me. I'll only have to make my side mounts then Ill have my damn bucket fitted :D
