Default Brake Booster advice needed

Hello so i am right about to overhaul the brakes on my 88 CRX Si, when i got the car the brake pedal was very stiff, we inspected the brakes and the rear drums/shoes appeared to be newer, as were the pads and rotors, we discovered the slide on the calipers were stuck and we free'd and re lubricated them. The pedal was still stiff.

I decided to just overhaul the whole system i have new front rotors/pads, reman'd calipers, 2040 prop valve, 7/8 MC and 93 integra rear disc conversion with new pads and rotors, 4 stainless lines. Now for the brake booster, it appears the stock MC has been drooling and corroded a 2 inch wide stripe down the booster.

Does this mean i should replace it as well? was it the cause of the stiff/lack of braking power? id hate to do all this brake work and have to replace the booster later if its bad.

Any thoughts?
