Default which motor in 92 dx hatch?

i might be picking up this 92 white hatch for $2500, has 187k miles on it! doesnt matter, motor will come out. My question is. Should i get a b18c1 or a civic type r b16b? let that aside, osaka has gsr motor for 2700, and jdm itr swap for 4200. Getting the type r over the Gsr, is it really worth $1500.00 more. I know it has LSD, but other than that.
By the way, this civic has been raped.. yellow vinyl interior, yellow drums/discs. im gonna have to hose this one down if i get her.

Hope you can help

$1500 more for the ITR ? What does that swap come with ? Axles, ecu, linkage ? Well, pound for pound, consider this.... a Quaiffe LSD runs $800, plus install (and an LSD is a great upgrade too) But for the $1500 more, you get a higher redline, better intake mani, a mildly ported head, more Hp, better valve springs, retainers, a better R/S ratio, a better stock clutch, PP, lighter flywheel and LSD !!!

The real quesiton is.... is all that worth it to you ?

Itr swap all the way!!!!
Thought I might add a few important things. type r has Anti friction coatings on the pistons for increased life and performance, Balanced Crank!!!! Better intake valves, Throtle body, WAAYYY better gear ratios than a freakin overated Gsr...... + the sexy red valve cover..as a bonus! Oh and by the way... dont pay freakin that much money for a high mileage civic with a bad case of the rice a roni syndrome! Talk him down to 2000K if it runs well. See if he has been trying to sell it for a while and is ready to get rid of it!

I'd get the ITR if I had the money. The GS-R is good bang for the buck BUT if you get an ITR or CTR motor, I'd suggest that you get those if

A. If want to JDM out the car
B. You want to road race the car
C. You DO NOT want to boost, blow, or juice the motor.

If 2 out of three of those things meet your personal pref., then the R motors are more worth it. Otherwise, the GSR or B16's should be just fine.

But I give the R motors

id get the itr, but if u dont have enough money you could get an itr, and build it better than the itr. by build a better valvetrain, and more aggressive cams, etc.

Dude Man...I think you spent too much time checkin out the Big Breasted chicky momma avatar you got going on there
Also you need to stop lusting after that "big breasted chicky momma" photo when your trying to type.
While your at it, take your mind out of the gutter and stop drooling over that "big breasted chicky momma" while you post.
Oh and no editing like I just did... You leave that quote up there Mr. "sohc93hatch"

Hmm.. If it was me, I'd take the ITR Power Window Motor over the GSR's Power Window Motor..

J/K.. A motor is powered by electricity and will run forward and reverse. An engine on the other hand will run on gasoline..

But for real.. I'd get a ITR engine.. It's only $1500 more. The best part would be bragging rights.. Because hey, everyone and their grandma pretty much has a b18c1 or b16a in their Civic.. You'll be different, somewhat.. But hey, when you're going to spend that much money, think about it. Do I want a GSR engine or a Integra Type R engine..

ITR ITR..
