Default New Ktuned 3" exhaust for the FG2/FA5

Wow I'm pretty excited about this!

Exhaust system design is not something that is new to us at K-Tuned. In fact, we have been fabricating custom exhaust setups for our customers and a few companies under private label contracts since our original shop opened in 1996. With that said, it shouldn't be a surprise that our K-Tuned exhaust line up is growing. The K-Tuned 8th Gen Civic Cat Back Exhaust System uses a proven design to reduce restriction and deliver significant power gains, especially in the upper rpm range, where the K engine loves to breathe. For piping, we used large diameter 3" mandrel-bent tubing, that really is 3" in diameter when measured, to make sure exhaust gases exit quickly.

There is a bit more room underneath the 8th Gen Civic chassis, so we used the additional space to install a bigger resonator that helps reduce the noise level and smooth out the sound. On the rear section, the oval muffler is just like our others and is fully polished with a 4" double wall slash cut tip. What you can't see is also important, so the interior of all our mufflers is densely packed with a premium sound suppression material that won't deteriorate like cheaper low grade packing will. All the joints and flanges are skillfully TIG welded by hand, and believe us, you really have to see these welds in person to appreciate them. Applications are available for both 2 and 4 door SI models and as usual, each system comes with all the necessary gaskets and hardware for installation.

All K-Tuned exhaust systems are made with the highest quality materials available to ensure they will perform properly and last for years. Every single part of our systems including the tubing, resonator, muffler, flanges and hangers are made entirely of true T304 stainless steel, unlike some competitors who choose to cut corners by using unknown grade stainless steel and cheap plated mild steel flanges. Cutting corners is just not in our DNA at K-Tuned, so the only thing cut on these exhaust systems is our profit margin. Take one look at the quality on these and our fair price will probably surprise you.

If you get this or anyone for that matter I would like some reviews. Granted I have yet to see K-Tuned have any bad reviews

Seems weird to make a thread talking about a new part... companies are always coming out with new parts, we don't have threads for each one. With that said...

Looks like the Thermal R&D 3" exhaust; small oval canister with a 4" tip. I'd be interested in seeing/hearing a video.

I was just looking at getting a Ful Race exhaust and saw that Ktuned just released one and I will be probably going to get one.

I'm actually going to Ktuned show next Monday to go have a look at one in person as I want to inspect it first. I'll update shortly as I might pull the trigger on one!

No I know there really isn't any reviews for it right now for the 8th gen Si yet... The exhaust is available for the EP3 and DC5 with reviews.

I'm going to look at it next week and if I like what I see I may pick it up! My car should be coming out of storage in the next 2 weeks depending on weather right now.

I'm pretty excited about this cause Ktuned is proven quality!

Sounds good to me!! Bouncing off the fuel cut off is not the best but I get it.
