87 1.6 into 87 std
After looking more closely I see this board is for 88+ but I'll throw this up anyways to see if anyone can give me some information.
I'm not new to cars, just looking for specifically difficult part s of this swap that I can ask the former owner about.
Essentially, I'm buying a new commuter car, the body is an 87 CRX STD (carb/auto) with 150k and the engine is from an 87 Si 1.6 SOHC, 5spd.
Going to look at it this weekend and I plan on immediately jacking it up to inspect for advanced rust, followed by a fluid check and compression test. If that all checks out I'll test drive and inspect everything else further.
Anything anyone can add or comment on is welcome, thanks.
