Default Connecting Rods Selection

I am in the mix of rebuilding my k20 turbo vehicle. I have been turbo'ed since 2007 over 550 whp.. now the motor has slight rod knock.. only when giving it gas. I have not opened the motor, but my builder told me I could re-hone the block and get the crank looked at if good get it mircopolished get new bearings and call it a day... if the block is all good when I take it apart.. I have weisco pistons and eagle rods, can I get the eagle rods reconditioned or do you guys recommend it or should I just new eagle rods.. If I get knew rods.. do I need to give it to the machine shop for the bearing size..

I would check the condition of the big end of the rod that has the knock. If it's not too far gone, it can be rebuilt/resized. If not, just replace that one rod. There is no need to replace the entire set unless you just really want to. You need to provide the weight of one of your good rods (with bolts) so that we can provide a rod that matches and keeps your set balanced. Give a dealer a call to order or you can order directly from us at 662-796-7373.

Do you guys recommend getting all new rod bolts for them connecting rods? Do you guys recondition rods? How much for a k20a2 02-04 eagle connecting rod(one)?
