CRV transmission problems
Hi I'm Sue W. I have no idea what I'm doing so be patient with me
I have a 2001 CRV automatic. I had an accident and I was hit on the passenger side. They had to work on the whole side of the car, new suspension, etc , $3600 damage. I am taking it back in because something is leaking , the front and back floors are soaking wet. BUT heres my question since I got it back my transmission is not going into high gear and there is some clicking noises. I live on top of a big hill and can barely get up it slowly only! Transmission fluid was very low. Is there a possibility that this could have resulted from the accident?? Thank you so much.

Yes. The front leak could be from the air intake section under the wiper cowl for the a/c unit to the filter behind the glive box. Its a common issue. The rear i dont know, unless the front is leaking bad enough to run to the rear.
