96 accord 4 cyl vtec solenoid

Do I have to remove the coolant housing to get to the bolts to change the lower gasket on the vtec solenoid(the gasket against the head?)

It will be easier if you did.
Actually, you don't have to remove it fully, just loosen the bolts and work with the solenoid to remove it.
